FAQ

Common questions

Which dangerous goods classes do you ship?

Classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.1, 8 and 9 by sea, air and express. We do not handle Class 1 explosives, Class 6.2 infectious substances or Class 7 radioactive material.

Can you ship lithium batteries by air?

Yes, within IATA DGR and airline rules. Batteries need a UN38.3 test summary, the correct state of charge, protective packaging and the right labels. Some airlines restrict certain battery types, so we check acceptance before you book.

What documents do I need?

A current SDS, a dangerous goods declaration for the mode of transport, and packaging inspection certificates from China Customs unless your shipment is exempt. We give you the full list once we have reviewed your product.

How early should I book dangerous goods?

As early as you know the cargo ready date. DG bookings need carrier approval and earlier port or airport cut-offs than general cargo.

Do you offer DDP for dangerous goods?

On selected lanes and classes. Send us the product and the destination and we will confirm whether DDP is possible.

Send your SDS. We’ll tell you if, and how, your cargo can ship.
